THE ROLE
- Taking and making calls to tenants, clients, subcontractors and on site colleagues.
- Receiving client requests and preparing work orders.
- Relaying instructions to on site operatives and collating details of works in progress.
- Updating clients on status of works.
- Maintaining continuity of projects by communicating instructions to colleagues both office and site based.
- Ensure all relevant computer and manual records are kept up to date including where necessary tenant and/or property notes using the in-house software system,
- Keeping information accessible by sorting and filing paper/certificates and E-documents.
- Preparing reports, summarising data and to offer ideas that may help save money & streamline the business.
- Updating databases and ensuring compliance of all operatives.
- Provide daily support to all other members of the team
- Keeping up to date with H&S compliance with the industry
- Debt management & invoicing
- Working with the owner to help implement new ideas & systems to help maintain & grow the business
THE PERSON
- You must be able to prioritise and work under pressure. It is crucial in this role that you possess excellent interpersonal skills. Previous office experience or experience in a similar role (not necessarily construction sector) is preferable.
- Excellent IT skills and be familiar with working with databases.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook & Quickbooks
- A good re-call/memory of ongoing jobs
- Articulate; as much of the day will be spent communicating via telephone
- Ability to build strong relationships with both Clients and colleagues
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience of working in an office (not necessarily in the construction/property sector).
- WORKING HOURS Full-time Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (Hours may be flexible but expect min 35hrs pw)

Pay: £23,132.20-£28,080.00 per year
