Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team in Hillsborough. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring timely and efficient vehicle deliveries and collections, contributing to our mission of providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently for car deliveries and collections
- Must have a **trailer licence** and be confident using a car trailer.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize delivery routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with vehicle loading and unloading as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions.
- Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver or delivery driver.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous motor trade experience is an advantage.
