With a strong track record and expanding client base, we’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in vehicle-related services.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the vehicle sector. This includes selling vehicle leasing, fleet management, or direct vehicle sales to SMEs, corporate clients, and public sector organisations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, strong B2B sales experience, and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads across target markets.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online prospecting.
- Present and promote vehicle solutions tailored to customer needs (leasing, fleet, outright purchase, etc.).
- Conduct client meetings, vehicle demonstrations, and negotiate terms to close deals.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams.
- Keep accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client communications in CRM systems.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the automotive space.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, ideally in automotive, fleet, or leasing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Competent in using CRM tools.
- Full UK driving license.
