Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible can do attitude, ensuring that cleanliness of all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-presented.
- Carry out commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, restock amenities, and ensure all rooms are prepared for new arrivals.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing clean linens.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Working hours are generally 9am to 2pm, including weekends.
