Remuneration: £27,000-£30,000 per annum plus overtime. Enhanced Sick Pay Scheme.

Job Purpose:
The Technician role involves conducting a wide range of structural investigations and testing procedures to support client projects. Technicians ensure accurate data collection and contribute to the smooth execution of site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and investigations, including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), coring, and Schmidt hammer tests.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Collaborate with engineers and site managers to achieve project goals.
- Record and report field data for further analysis.
- Mentor Trainee Technicians where applicable.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency in operating testing equipment.
- Experience working in field-based environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interest in civil engineering and field operations.
- Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- Full UK driving license.
- Basic knowledge of testing equipment or site operations.
- Certifications in NDT or related techniques.
- Experience with data entry and report preparation.
