We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position involves various responsibilities, including assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing support to both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Assist customers in menu selection and provide information about specials and promotions.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution.
- Support catering events as required, assisting with setup and breakdown.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality skills.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with a passion for customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant environment.
- Experience in bartending or food preparation is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with a positive attitude who is willing to help colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
