Kenway Tyres is the largest tyre wholesaler in the North of Scotland. We supply tyres to local garages, retailers and some major car dealerships whilst also having retail depots of our own in Aberdeen & Dundee. We’ve been a successful part of the local business community for over 40 years and due to business growth, we are looking to expand our existing team further.
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent position based at our Head Office depot in Aberdeen.
Stores Person/Driver (Full-time)
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling stock within our large wholesale warehouse, primarily tyres and related parts. When required, you may also deliver goods to local customers using one of our branded vans.
You will provide excellent customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient deliveries with a positive attitude. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation relating to stock counts, movements, and customer deliveries, while working alongside a team of store personnel and drivers.
Applicants must have strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised warehouse will be essential. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are key to delivering the KT standard of service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and checking stock deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
- Organising warehouse stock and assigning items to designated locations
- Using warehouse systems to track stock and ensure efficient retrieval
- Fulfill customer orders for outbound delivery
- Loading delivery vans in a structured and efficient manner
- Assisting with deliveries during busy periods when required
Applicants should be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks, and must hold a full UK driving licence.
