Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and medical histories to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, electrotherapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, proper posture, and self-management techniques to support long-term health.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages patient engagement and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Physiotherapist with a strong understanding of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse patient populations.
- Strong knowledge of current physiotherapy techniques, equipment, and evidence-based practices.
- Ability to perform thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a healthcare team.
- Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or governing bodies.
