Care Assistant / Domiciliary Carer — East End Home Care Ltd (Ilford, East London)
East End Home Care Ltd is a CQC-registered domiciliary care provider based in Ilford, supporting adults and children to live safely and independently in their own homes across Redbridge and East London. About the role
You'll visit clients in their own homes, delivering person-centred care built around each individual's care plan. No two clients are the same, and we'll make sure you're matched to clients whose needs suit your skills and experience.
What you'll do
- Provide personal care and support with daily living — washing, dressing, mobility, meals, and companionship
- Support clients with medication in line with their care plan and our medicines policy
- Record care notes accurately and promptly using our digital care system
- Communicate warmly and professionally with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Promote each client's independence, dignity, and choice at every visit
- Accompany or drive clients to appointments and outings where required
What we're looking for
- A genuinely caring attitude and reliability — clients depend on you being there
- Experience in home care or a care setting is desirable, but full training is provided for the right person
- Good spoken and written English
- Basic IT confidence for digital care records
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred (travel between clients is part of the role)
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (adults and children's workforce) — required for all roles
- The right to work in the UK
