Schedule: 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair non-motorised GSE, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and regulatory standards

Perform welding and fabrication tasks to recognised industry standards

Carry out routine servicing, refurbishment, and minor bodywork/branding repairs

Ensure safe working practices, especially when handling hazardous substances

Keep accurate maintenance records using our computer-based fleet management system

Support workshop cleanliness and report defects promptly

Provide cover at other Swissport fleet workshops when needed

Share knowledge and support the development of colleagues

Participate in training and development to maintain professional standards
Qualifications:
- Recognised welding/fabrication qualification or equivalent

Technical apprenticeship to NVQ Level 2 or similar

Solid mechanical engineering experience

Proficiency in basic engineering, sheet metalwork, and use of workshop tools

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Physically fit and capable of manual handling up to 25kg

Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Full valid UK driving licence

Willingness to travel for training or support at other stations
