The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Management is looking to recruit a Temporary Lecturer in Travel and Tourism to deliver a range of programmes and courses within the curriculum area.
Staff within the team will contribute to the design, delivery, and assessment of engaging learning experiences for a diverse group of students at various levels, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Travel and Tourism, using a range of learning technologies to deliver face to face in person teaching and online distance learning teaching;
- Support students to improve engagement, retention, and success;
- Deliver structured content to learners from SCQF level 4 to SCQF level 8;
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure course content remains current and relevant; and
- Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain professional knowledge through ongoing development.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 (HND or qualification of equivalent standard) or have relevant skills and experience in Travel and Tourism;
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to a wide range of student groups;
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously; and
- Have appropriate IT skills and be confident in using digital learning tools.

Salary: £41,896 - £50,359 per annum (pro rata)
Location : Anniesland Campus. However, you may be required to travel and work within all Glasgow Clyde campuses.
