Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in a timely manner
- Take orders and process payments using the bar’s POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming environment
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and uphold safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or special events as required
