Experienced Residential Child Support Workers – Dundee

The Role
Working as part of a dedicated residential team, you will:
- Create a safe, nurturing and supportive home environment.
- Build trusting relationships that help young people feel heard, respected and valued.
- Support daily routines while encouraging independence and positive life skills.
- Plan engaging activities, hobbies and community experiences that promote wellbeing and confidence.
- Respond calmly and compassionately to behaviours of concern using a relationship-based approach.
- Support young people with health, personal care and emotional wellbeing where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes for every young person.
About You

- Experience supporting children or young people within residential or care settings.
- A caring, patient and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to remain calm, professional and resilient.
