Working in our Apple Blinds Showroom in Sale. Helping and advising customers in the store, taking telephone messages and orders, handling queries, inputting orders on the system, scheduling fitters and surveyors daily job sheets and all other aspects of the day to day running of a small retail outlet.

You must be able to work on your own initiative as the successful candidate will be in the shop on their own for the majority of the time, be computer literate and know how to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
Proven experience in retail sales and dealing with the public face to face is essential.

Previous window blind and shutter knowledge would be a definite advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to talk in a friendly and professional manner to customers and create leads is the main attribute required.
Normally working a 2 day week , with alternate Saturdays, from 9 am till 5 pm. We are closed on Sundays and all Bank Holiday.
However, you would also need to cover a 6 day week when your shop colleague is on holidays, as they would cover your holidays.
Initially you would be required to work for at least 3 or 4 days a week while being trained in the role.
I am looking for a pro active person who doesn't wait to be told what needs doing and has a lot of passion and common sense ! A hard working conscientious individual who is very reliable, honest, takes pride in their work and goes the extra mile for all our customers.
You will be paid weekly every Tuesday into your bank account.
On successful completion of a 3 month probation period, you would also be paid sales commission on achieving the shop sales target.
