The Executive Headteacher and Governors of the Exe Valley and Moorsway Federation wish to appoint a Catreing Assistant for Whimple Primary School. The role will involve collecting and help prepare the meals at Newton St Cyres Primary School ( Mileage allownace for this) and transporting them serve daily at Whimple Primary School. (Own transport required)
You will need to be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual..
You will need to have an appreciation for the challenges of working in a busy lunchtime environment and be willing to carry out a variety of roles that may change on a day-to-day basis. Ideally, previous catering experience and a Level 2 food safety would be an advantage, although training will be given.
The post-holder will be based at Whimple Primary School for 18.75 hours per week and will be expected to work from 10.00am – 13.45 Monday to Friday.
The salary for this post is currently £25,614 full time equivalent [NJC Grade A] or an hourly rate of £13.28. Mileage for transporting meals between the two schools can be claimed on a monthly basis.
