We are looking for a passionate and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast dishes while maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety, and presentation standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of breakfast dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served promptly to meet service requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety and health regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management to ensure ingredients are always available.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to provide outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including correct food handling, storage, and temperature control.
- Assist with menu development by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials based on customer feedback and current food trends.
- Ensure every dish is presented to the highest standard before service.
- Support the wider kitchen team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef, or Cook within a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP principles, and kitchen health and safety procedures.
- Experience preparing a variety of breakfast dishes in a busy kitchen.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
