The Role
We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic Chefs to join the kitchen team at Canal Club, a busy Leeds venue known for great atmosphere and quality food.
This is a hands-on cooking role — not a senior or head chef position — ideal for chefs with minimum experience in a fast-paced, fresh food kitchen who are looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
We’re currently developing a brand-new menu, and this role offers the opportunity to be involved in new dish launches and be part of an exciting new chapter for the venue.

- Supporting new menu development and launches
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Working closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum experience in a fast-paced, fresh food kitchen
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
All training will be provided, with an emphasis on continued development rather than senior-level experience.

- 25+ hours per week
- Full training and ongoing support
- Involvement in an exciting new menu rollout
- A supportive, fast-paced working environment
- Opportunities for progression within the business
