HVAC Spares Ltd is a small, established company specialising in the air conditioning, refrigeration and commercial heating spares market. We supply electric motors, fans and related components to manufacturers for new equipment, as well as service engineers requiring replacement parts. Established in 2002, the company has grown steadily and is based at Bardney Airfield, just outside Lincoln.
We are looking for a dependable, enthusiastic and hands-on individual to join our small but busy team.
This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with the handling of technical products. An interest in, or basic knowledge of, electrical or mechanical components would be a real advantage, as you will be identifying, checking and preparing electric motors, fans and associated parts for dispatch. Full product training will be provided.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately.
- Identifying and handling electrical motors, fans and HVAC spare parts.
- Wrapping and preparing palletised shipments.
- Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries.
- Stock replenishment and stock taking.
- Product labelling and completion of warehouse paperwork.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using warehouse equipment where required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
The successful applicant will be confident working on their own initiative, have an excellent eye for detail and take pride in providing a high level of accuracy and customer service.
You will be expected to follow safe working practices at all times and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Skills & Experience
- Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge, or experience working with technical products, is desirable.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences are advantageous but not essential.
- A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work.
Salary: £13.78 per hour (13-week probation period at £12.98 per hour)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Days: Monday to Friday
