We are seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and enhancing the quality of life for those in need.
Responsibilities - Assist individuals with disabilities in daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Help with mobility, including assisting with heavy lifting when necessary - Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care - Maintain accurate records of patient care.
Required Skills: - Experience in dementia care and supporting individuals with various disabilities - Knowledge of nursing home or assisted living environments - Ability to provide compassionate senior care and patient support - Competency in medication administration and personal care tasks
