Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Health and Safety CDM (Construction Design and Management) Consultant to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, including supporting the Principal Designer across a range of construction projects. You will help ensure compliance with CDM regulations while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of projects.
Duties
- Assisting in carrying out daily site inspections.
- Supporting audits and health and safety inspections.
- Compiling reports based on site findings and recommendations.
- Assisting in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Supporting the delivery of CDM duties, including pre-construction information and construction phase plans.
- Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
Skills
- Understanding of CDM regulations and Principal Designer responsibilities.
- Previous experience or placement in a construction or design environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of design risk management and construction health and safety practices.
- Interest in pursuing further professional development in CDM coordination.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Construction, H&S or Design qual e.g. NEBOSH, NVQ, BTEC (required)
