Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and assist with daily living activities, making a significant difference in the lives of those you support.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
- Communicate regularly with residents, families, and team members to provide updates on health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes to senior staff.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by following health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
Skills
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
