About the Post:
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an enthusiastic Digital Apprentice within the Applications Team of Technology and Innovation Service. The team supports all business critical systems of the Council by providing maintenance, support, development and upgrades.
We’re looking for someone with drive and ambition who is competent in using Microsoft Office 365 software and who embraces AI technologies.
You’ll have good digital skills, good communication skills and able to work well as part of a team.
This Apprenticeship sits in our Technology section where you will be supporting applications with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Working with colleagues, our suppliers, and with our partner agencies you’ll deliver real value adding solutions.
We currently operate a hybrid working approach where you’ll have access to Westgate (our main town centre office), various outreach buildings and the opportunity to work from home. We operate a 37-hour working week on a flexi-time scheme (7am and 7pm) and coordinate with one another to maintain a level of service cover between the hours of 9am - 5pm Mon – Thurs and 9am - 4.30pm on Fridays.
