We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for a variety of equipment, primarily within the forecourt and construction sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of equipment through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting, contributing to the smooth running of client operations across multiple locations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
Duties
- Conduct on-site inspections and diagnose issues with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to prevent equipment failure.
- Repair or replace faulty components using schematics and technical manuals to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational specifications.
- Document all service activities meticulously, including repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Liaise with clients to explain technical issues clearly and provide professional advice on equipment care and upgrades.
- Being able to efficiently plan out your site visits through out the country.
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing faults.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple service calls efficiently across different locations.
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining high safety standards.
- Relevant experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, or construction projects will be advantageous.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
