Job Title: Bartender & Server (Bar / Nightclub)
Working Fridays & Saturday nights from 10pm until 2.30am is a requirement for this role.
Job Summary:
We are looking for energetic, confident, and customer-focused Bartenders & Servers to join our late-night bar and nightclub team. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a lively environment, is sales-driven, and delivers outstanding customer service. Due to the nature of the business and late trading hours (open until 2am), this role is strictly for over-18s only. Weekend availability is essential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Achieving and contributing toward individual and team sales targets
- Working behind the bar serving customers quickly and professionally
- Making cocktails to a high standard while following set recipes
- Confidently street promoting the venue when required
- Bar backing duties including ice replenishment, glassware, stock, and general bar support
- Working on the floor taking orders for food and drinks and serving customers efficiently
- Checking back on customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
- Clearing and cleaning tables efficiently throughout service
- Upselling food and drinks to maximise sales
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong customer rapport
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented venue at all times
- Operating EPOS tills accurately and responsibly
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all bar, floor, and service areas
- Rotating stock and ensuring the bar is fully stocked at all times
- Carrying out any other duties delegated by the Shift Supervisor or Manager
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a bar, nightclub, or hospitality environment preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident, outgoing, and professional attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy late-night environment
- Sales-focused with the ability to upsell effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive work ethic
Requirements & Availability:
- Must be 18 years or older due to the nature of the business and late-night working hours
- Must be available to work weekends and late-night shifts (up to 2am)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
