Proper Tasty has been serving up delicious, high-quality pre-packed sandwiches to shops, cafés, and garages for over 15 years, and we’re growing! As we continue to expand, we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working people to join our vibrant kitchen team.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll will be the face of the company - delivering our sandwiches. It would suit an outgoing person that can get along with people.
Duties:
- Prepare van for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tyre pressure; scheduling required repairs, adherence to Highway code
- Load van checking orders are correct
- Deliver sandwiches to customers
- Build good relationships with customers and look for new sales opportunities
- Maintains safe operation by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards, clean van exterior and interior.
- Maintains delivery, van, and driving records.
No experience? No problem. We’re happy to train the right people.
We’re looking for people who are:
Punctual, dependable, and ready to work.
Flexible with start and finish times (depending on the requirements we start at 6am, working 4-6 hours). This is a part time position. We have a current requirement for a Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
Opportunity to work additional hours to cover additional deliveries or in our unit so flexibility is required.
A full driving license is essential.
This is a physical role which involves some lifting and bending
