Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Food Technical Officer to support food safety, quality assurance and technical compliance across products and operations. The role will involve maintaining technical documentation, supporting audits, monitoring quality standards and working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure products meet food safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain food safety, quality and technical documentation and records.
- Support compliance with relevant UK food safety and quality standards.
- Assist with internal, customer and third-party audits.
- Review supplier specifications, certificates, technical documents and product information.
- Monitor product quality, complaints, non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Support risk assessments, HACCP reviews and food safety procedures.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Assist with product specifications, labelling information and technical approvals.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in food technical, quality assurance, food safety or a related role.
- Good understanding of HACCP, food safety principles and UK food regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Ability to review technical specifications and identify compliance issues.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and technical documentation systems.
