Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and connect electrical components accurately.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure all electrical work complies with local codes and standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections conducted.
Experience
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and voltage testers.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
