Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tyre Fitter to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and optimal performance. Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and proper tread depth to determine necessary repairs or replacements
- Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation and prevent uneven wear
- Perform wheel alignments and other maintenance tasks as needed to optimize vehicle performance
- Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to handle large or heavy tyres safely
- Communicate clearly with customers about tyre conditions, repairs needed, and maintenance advice
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle tyre systems and basic automotive maintenance
- Experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Familiarity with power tools used in tyre fitting and maintenance processes
- Prior experience in vehicle maintenance or tyre fitting is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tyre replacement procedures

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,049.55 per year
