About the Role
Glideline is a leading aluminium door and window manufacturer, and we're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In Operative to join our team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, checking and preparing incoming aluminium stock ready for manufacture. A key part of the role is taping aluminium profiles, carrying out quality checks and ensuring materials are ready for production. You'll also learn to identify the different aluminium profiles we use and report any damage or defects to management.
No previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is required - full training will be provided.
Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries.
- Check stock against delivery paperwork.
- Tape aluminium profiles ready for manufacture.
- Learn to identify the different aluminium profiles used by Glideline.
- Identify damaged or defective materials and report issues to management.
- Maintain organised stock storage areas.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure materials are available when required.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

Additional Details
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- 7:30am – 4:30pm.
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break plus two paid 15-minute breaks.
- Immediate start available.
