Our client, a leading prestige accident repair business with multiple sites across Surrey, is looking for a Parts Advisor to join their Shepperton bodyshop, working as part of a small, close-knit two-person parts team.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing vehicle parts to keep repairs moving efficiently and on schedule. Working closely with technicians and the wider bodyshop team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the right parts arrive at the right time, every time.
As the team supports each other across sites, this role will occasionally require covering annual leave at other Surrey locations — so a full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Ordering parts from suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Liaising with technicians to confirm parts requirements against job estimates
- Managing parts inventory, returns, and core exchanges
- Processing paperwork and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and resolve delivery issues
- Providing holiday cover for parts colleagues at other Surrey sites as needed
About You
- Previous experience in a parts advisor or similar automotive parts role (bodyshop/accident repair experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as part of a small team
- Confident communicator, both with colleagues and suppliers
- Full, valid UK driving licence required (occasional travel between sites for holiday cover)
What's on Offer
- £14 – £15 per hour, dependent on experience
- Full-time, permanent position based in Shepperton
- Supportive team environment within a well-established prestige repair group
- Opportunities for training and progression
