Rookery Nook is a Salvation Army Lifehouse and has 11 rooms accommodating men and women over the age of 18 who are experiencing homelessness. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Maintenance Person to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As someone committed to providing a high-quality environment for our clients, as Maintenance Person you will be responsible for general day to day repairs, decorating, health and safety checks & dealing with contractors.
The successful candidate(s)will be able to demonstrate:

Ability to work as part of a staff team to ensure any health and safety issues are addressed by on site staff

Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations

Respecting Confidentiality in line with policy

Keeping all appropriate paperwork evidencing tasks completed to support the services provided at the Lifehouse.

Experience and competence in general property maintenance

Experience in basic DIY works to facilitate the upkeep of the building

Good time keeping and smart appearance

Undertake any training as deemed necessary

A can do and non-judgemental attitude
