Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, supporting office operations, and ensuring smooth communication with our customers and instructors. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and prior administrative and customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
- Handling data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications,.
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, driving tests , meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff member
- Supporting basic invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping activities.
- Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Providing general administrative support to team members to ensure efficient office operations
Qualifications
- experience or administrative background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with good phone etiquette
- Experience with data entry and clerical tasks demonstrating accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role will be advantageous
This position provides a flexible working pattern in a small friendly family firm.
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
