Are you an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist looking to expand your skillset and create an additional income stream with highly flexible work?
We're looking for experienced Occupational Therapists to train and work as expert witnesses in medico-legal cases across a range of specialist areas.
We are particularly interested in therapists with experience in:
- Adult Neurology
- Paediatric Neurology
- General Occupational Therapy
- Hand Therapy
- Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Mental Health
- Assistive Technology
No previous expert witness experience is required - we provide:
- Comprehensive expert witness training
- 1:1 mentoring from experienced expert witnesses
- Ongoing admin, billing and practice management support
- Flexible remote work around your existing clinical role
- Support establishing your own expert witness practice
What You'll Do
- Carry out independent assessments for legal cases
- Prepare high-quality expert witness reports
- Apply your existing clinical expertise to complex medico-legal matters
- Learn expert report writing, legal procedures and court processes
What We're Looking For
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (preferred)
- Strong assessment and report writing skills
- Excellent communication
- An interest in applying your expertise within the legal sector
