Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cost Controller/Management Accountant/Financial Controller to manage the budgets, costs and risks of the Tunnelling activities.
This position involves regular engagement with internal stakeholders (Production teams, Finance, Cost Controllers, PMO, and Commercial teams) and external stakeholders (clients and auditors).
This is a key position requiring both deep understanding of on-site operations (progress, challenges, cost variations) and excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to clients.
Main Responsibilities Monitor financial performance against budgets . Good understanding of the programme, the costs implications and the subsequent decisions. Track the evolving budgets and ways of recovery, assess KPI’s. Earned Value analysis (CPI and SPI indexes), close to site evolving challenges. Forecast the costs : report an accurate and shared forecast of future costs. Run scenarios and implications to support common decision making. Presentation of dashboards : communicate on shared KPI’s and analysis, internally to the Construction Director and externally to the client. Risk and compliance: ensure the processes and procedures are developed, shared and followed, inline with internal policies and regulations. Mentor the recent joiners of the team : sharing of knowledge, support and guidance to junior team members.
