About the Person You’ll Be Supporting & Your Role
As a Support Worker, you'll be supporting a young woman in her 20s who has an acquired brain injury (ABI). She is sociable, outgoing, and enjoys an active lifestyle, with a strong focus on building her independence. She loves spending time in the community, meeting people, and taking part in activities.
This is a rewarding 1:1 role where you'll support her to access the community, enjoy meaningful activities, and work towards her personal goals. You'll play an important part in helping her live a fulfilling life while promoting her confidence, wellbeing, and independence.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and positive Support Worker who enjoys helping people achieve their goals and get the most out of life. You'll be confident supporting someone in the community, encouraging independence, and building a strong, trusting relationship. A flexible, resilient approach is important, along with the ability to remain calm and supportive when managing changes to plans or expectations.
