Working hours:
- 12 hour shifts, 6pm - 6am , 4 shifts on 4 shifts off
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team by setting daily tasks, providing all necessary training.
- Taking care of the day to day running of the factory floor.
- Ensuring you and your team are working in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policies.
- Carrying out instructions handed down from Supervisors or Managers.
- Ensuring that high standards of quality are kept and comply with the Company’s Quality policy.
- To make sure all relevant reports and paperwork are completed daily.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
- Leading by example, in terms of timekeeping, attendance and visibility.
- Proactively being observant and highlighting any issues that arise with the plant and machinery.
- Keeping to production targets set by Senior Management.
- Data collection from input/output figures
Skills/Experience required:
- Production experience
- Minimum 1 years experience as a chargehand
- Target driven
- Flexibility
- Awareness and initiative
- Good communication skills
- FLT Licence would be advantageous
- This industry does involve working around plastic waste so it can be dusty and smelly
