The Queer Aesthetic creates safe, affirming, and empowering spaces for our LGBTQ+ community. Designed by us, for us, we curate pop-up events that turn self-care into a joyful celebration of our bodies, bringing everyone together in love, fun, connection, and total authenticity!
Our pop-up spaces bring together ambient soundscapes, soft lighting, lush botanical plants, and gender-affirming beauty and wellness rituals.
We warmly encourage applications from trans, non-binary, female, and queer beauty, body, and wellness specialists who love bringing joy and uplifting energy to our community!
What Services Can You Offer?
We are looking for a vibrant mix of talents to offer pampering treatments, aesthetic rituals, and body modifications, including:
- Massage Therapy & Bodywork (Relaxing massages, reflexology, tension release)
- Facials & Skincare (Mini-facials, glowing skincare rituals)
- Makeup Consultations & Makeovers (Glam, natural, or expressive queer makeup)
- Tooth Gems & Adornments (Sparkly smile upgrades)
- Flash Tattoos (Quick, beautiful flash pieces)
- Grooming & Barbering (Sharp line-ups, beard tidying, butch brow shaping)
- Brows & Threading (Eyebrow threading, shaping, and tinting)
- Nail Art & Manicures (Express nails, detailed nail art)

How Our Practitioner Partnership Works
We love supporting independent creators and practitioners with fair, empowering, and easy working setups. Here is how our pop-up collaboration works for you:
- Keep 100% of What You Make: Every single penny you earn from your treatments on the day is yours to keep.
- Direct Payments Made Easy: You set up your own preferred payment method from your station and take payments directly from happy clients.
- Pre-Booked Time Slots: When guests grab their event admission ticket online, they can reserve their specific treatment time slots with you in advance, giving you a full, organized schedule before you even walk through the door.
- A Gorgeous Setup Provided: We take care of venue hire, curated music, soft lighting, botanical decor, marketing, and modular privacy screens to keep your station feeling cozy and protected.
- Small Event Contribution: To help us cover foundational venue and decor costs while keeping entry ticket prices low and accessible for everyone, we ask each featured practitioner for a small donation (around £15 to £20) toward the event setup.
Suggested Service & Taster Pricing
Our guests love trying out different pampering rituals throughout the session! Offering quick taster sessions or mini-treatments alongside your regular menu items is a brilliant way to introduce your skills:
- Taster Recommendation: E.g., £15–£20 for a 20-minute taster (such as a 20-minute massage, mini-facial, quick makeup consult, tooth gem placement, sharp line-up, butch brow shape, or mini flash tattoo).
- Total Autonomy: You have complete freedom to choose your exact treatment menu, session lengths, and prices.
What We Provide
- A dedicated treatment station surrounded by warm, modular privacy room dividers.
- Reliable power access for your tools, ring lights, and equipment.
- Free unlimited herbal teas and iced matcha for you and your clients.
- Opportunity to sell your products alongside your treatments if applicable.
- Full promotion of your brilliant work, menu, and social media handles across all of our marketing channels.
What You Bring
- Your own professional tools, equipment, and supplies (e.g., massage table, towels, ring lights, inks, tooth gem kit, or grooming tools).
- Proof of valid professional insurance and relevant qualifications for your services.
- A card reader or payment app to collect fees directly from clients on the day.
