Estimator – Commercial Cleaning
Location: Midlands (Hybrid/Office-based depending on experience)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Midland Commercial Cleaners is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing team.
We specialise in commercial cleaning projects, including builders’ cleans, sparkle cleans, one-off deep cleans, and specialist commercial cleaning contracts. Due to an increasing workload, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and produce accurate, professional quotations with minimal supervision.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing quotations for a wide range of commercial cleaning projects. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to interpret project information accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
- Reviewing tender documents and project specifications.
- Estimating labour hours and pricing commercial cleaning works.
- Producing accurate, professional quotations.
- Liaising with the management team where clarification is required.
- Meeting quotation deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous estimating experience (commercial cleaning, construction, facilities management or a related industry).
- Ability to confidently read drawings and construction plans.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple quotations.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in from day one.
Experience within the commercial cleaning industry would be a significant advantage, but we will also consider experienced estimators from related sectors who understand construction drawings and labour-based estimating.
