We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across Rhyl from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, teaching assistants looking to progress, or anyone with experience working with young people.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete their work.
- Provide a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
- Report back to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Confidence leading a classroom independently.
- A positive, professional, and flexible attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
