We're looking for compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN school supporting pupils aged 4-19 with a range of complex additional needs.
This isn't just another Teaching Assistant role.

This specialist provision caters for Primary and Secondary pupils with a wide range of complex needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Complex Communication Needs
- Physical Disabilities
- Medical Needs
- Sensory Processing Difficulties
- SEMH and behaviours that challenge
The school provides outstanding facilities including sensory rooms, life skills areas, outdoor learning spaces and small class sizes, ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.
Your Role
As a Teaching Assistant you'll work alongside experienced teachers and therapists to:
✔ Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small classes
✔ Help pupils access learning through personalised strategies
✔ Encourage communication, independence and confidence
✔ Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
✔ Assist with sensory activities and therapeutic interventions
✔ Celebrate every achievement—no matter how big or small
Some pupils may require personal care, moving and handling or medical support. Full training will be provided where required.
