Vacancy: Domiciliary Care Worker (Home Care Assistant)
Location: Community-based (clients’ homes)
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available
Salary: Competitive rates of pay + enhancements (depending on experience and hours worked)
About the Role
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers to join our dedicated care team. You will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to live independently, safely, and with dignity.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and use of equipment.
- Assist with medication (in line with training and care plans).
- Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration.
- Carry out light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance.
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities when required.
- Observe, monitor, and report changes in clients’ health or wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate daily records and follow individual care plans.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and infection-control policies at all times.

- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred, due to community visits).
Qualifications & Training
- NVQ / Diploma in Health & Social Care (desirable but not required).
- Full induction and ongoing training provided.
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required.
- Moving & handling, medication, and safeguarding training provided.
