About the role
Join a small, friendly team at Bombers Sandwich House. You’ll help prepare fresh food, handle made-to-order items, support outside catering, keep the shop clean and tidy, and serve customers face to face. We’re big on building relationships with our regulars and working well together.
This role will start as part time (12 hours a week) to allow time for training and increase to 30 hours a week in Janurary 2027. Start date TBC but will be around mid December. This is a temporary position to cover staff whilst on maternity leave.
What you’ll do
- Prepare ingredients and assemble sandwiches and other menu items.
- Make “made-to-order” food accurately and efficiently.
- Support outside catering prep, packing, and occasional deliveries/support.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the shift.
- Serve customers with a positive, helpful attitude and handle payments.
What we’re looking for
- Background in catering and/or customer service is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Strong hygiene standards and attention to detail.
- Good communication and a friendly manner with customers.
