In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site tyre fitting services directly at customer locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Your expertise will help customers get back on the road quickly while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site tyre replacements, repairs, and maintenance for a variety of vehicle types, including cars, vans, and light trucks
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove old tyres and fit new ones accurately and safely
- Inspect tyres for damage or wear, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure proper installation
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks related to tyres and suspension components
- Assist customers with questions regarding tyre care and provide professional advice to enhance vehicle safety
- Lift heavy tyres safely using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury or damage
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including parts used and work completed
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge with a strong understanding of vehicle tyre systems and basic automotive maintenance
- Hands-on experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Proficiency with power tools used in tyre fitting and vehicle maintenance tasks
- Prior experience in mobile or on-site automotive repair or tyre fitting is preferred but not essential—training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
