Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)

R2U Accident Repair Centre is a busy, family run accident repair business with an exciting and rapidly expanding mobile repair division. We currently have two mobile repair vans operating across the UK, carrying out insurance repairs, with plans to grow to five vans by the end of the year.
We're looking for a proactive, organised and reliable Parts Assistant to support this growing side of the business while also becoming an important member of our existing parts department.
About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be managing parts for our nationwide mobile repair technicians. This will involve sourcing and ordering parts from dealerships and suppliers across the UK, ensuring everything is ready for collection by our technicians in their local areas.
As our mobile repair fleet continues to grow, you'll play a key role in keeping our technicians supplied with the right parts, helping them deliver an excellent service to our insurance customers.
Once the daily requirements for the mobile repair operation have been completed, you'll work alongside our experienced Parts Manager, assisting with the day-to-day running of our busy accident repair centre parts department.
You'll also have the opportunity to help manage our eBay parts store, and as an added incentive, you'll receive 20% commission on all eBay sales you generate.
Your Responsibilities
- Ordering parts for our nationwide mobile repair technicians.
- Building relationships with dealerships and suppliers across the UK.
- Coordinating parts collection for technicians working in locations such as Cardiff, Devon, Yorkshire and other regions.
- Tracking and monitoring parts orders to ensure they arrive on time.
- Supporting the Parts Manager with ordering, checking in and organising parts for the bodyshop.
- Assisting with stock control and general parts department duties.
- Helping to manage our eBay parts store and online sales.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Has 2 years experience in a parts department
- Can use parts ordering platforms such as parts link and others
- Someone who is computer literate
- Proactive and able to work on their own initiative.
- Friendly, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Confident communicating with suppliers and dealerships.
- Comfortable using computers and email systems.
- Previous motor trade or parts experience would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
