Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Duties
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately and maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organised records
- Utilise Microsoft Office programmes, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for various administrative functions
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars efficiently
- Perform general clerical duties including typing correspondence, processing mail, and maintaining supplies
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks as required
- Maintain a tidy reception area to uphold a welcoming environment for visitors and staff
Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and QuickBooks
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
- Experience with data entry and general clerical work is desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
