Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food production.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Manage food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Inventory management to minimise waste and optimise costs.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Assist in developing innovative menu items to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- Sense of humour is advantageous!
