At the Mousetrap Inn we thrive on serving good quality country classics in the heart of the Cotswolds located in Bourton on the Water.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our friendly and experienced kitchen team. All training provided in house including food safety and basic cooking skills and so no experience needed.
As a commis chef you'll be involved in food preparation, service and clean down.
This is an ideal first time chef role for anyone interested in food or cooking.

Experience:
- Show a friendly and positive attitude to work within a team and show independence to work on your own when required.
- Attention to detail and be able to help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Willingness to learn and experience kitchen life as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the kitchen team in all aspects of service throughout the week.
- Producing high quality meals with an attention to detail to ensure consistency throughout.
- Quality control and maintaining a high standard of safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Preparation of foods and assisting in menu creation working with the Head Chef.
Pay: £13.50-£17.00 per hour
