Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The role involves carrying out a wide range of property maintenance tasks across our portfolio, including both planned works and reactive repairs. You’ll be a problem-solver with a positive attitude, comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- General property maintenance and repair works (basic plumbing, joinery, painting & decorating, tiling, plaster patching, and minor electrical tasks).
- Responding to maintenance call-outs and diagnosing issues on-site.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, to a high standard, and within agreed timescales.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times.
- Keeping accurate records of jobs completed and materials used.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman, property maintenance operative, or similar role.
- Wide skill set in general maintenance (multi-trade).
- Full UK driving licence (company vehicle may be provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- Good communication skills and a professional manner.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
Desirable
- Trade qualifications (e.g. joinery, plumbing, electrical, or similar).
- Previous experience in property services, lettings, or facilities management.
