External Job Advertisement: Property Maintenance Technician

We are recruiting for a Property Maintenance Technician role on a three month fixed term contract who can carry out a number of maintenance tasks on our factory building at our facility in Whitstable, Kent.
This is a hands-on role which requires a practical, proactive individual who can carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks while ensuring minimal disruption to daily operation of the factory. The successful candidate must be able to respond quickly to maintenance issues and carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
The hours of work are 8:00am to 4:00pm which equates to 40 hour working week.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience or qualifications in the following areas:
· Carry out general repairs to factory building
· Carry out decorating, painting and refurbishment works
· Small plumbing works
· Small plastering tasks
· Replacement of carpet tiles
· Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests
· Repair fixtures, fittings to factory building
· Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
We offer 22 days’ annual leave pro rata plus bank holidays and a generous employer pension contribution.
