St Margaret of Scotland Hospice is seeking an Area Fundraiser to lead and deliver on key income generation initiatives. This is an exciting period for the team, as we introduce new roles which will enable us to offer the very best experience for our supporters.

About the Role
As our Area Fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in developing fundraising across our community, driving and executing the fundraising plan. You will be responsible for inspiring donors, engaging supporters, and securing the resources needed to achieve our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement a comprehensive area fundraising plan.
· Cultivate relationships with a wide range of supporters including schools, community groups, corporate partners and individual supporters.
· Lead community engagement initiatives to build awareness and support for the Hospice.
· Plan and deliver high-impact fundraising events and activities.
· Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising objectives.
· Providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
About You:
We’re looking for a dynamic fundraiser. You’ll thrive in a fast paced, values led environment and be passionate about making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. Ability to co-create, develop and implement plans and strategies to increase fundraising.
2. Ability to develop funding propositions, create compelling communications and manage stewardship and cultivation plans.
3. A high level of interpersonal skills with a visible and authentic leadership style.
4. Knowledge of the fundraising landscape and the role of Hospices in the delivery of healthcare, including palliative care.
5. Understanding of the principles of good fundraising governance and best practice.
6. It is desirable but not essential that the postholder has experience of working with volunteers or of being a volunteer.

Location: Office based at St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Clydebank
Salary: £29,000
Contract: Full-time, Office Based with travel required
